Marshall University vs Ohio State Football and Maurice Clarett’s Return

It’s a heated sports event as the Ohio State Football Buckeyes face Marshall University Thundering Herd this thursday night. This will mark the end of the NFL Preseason 2010 and open at the same time college football. That means NCAA college football returns with your favorite college teams and universities all vying for the NCAA football championship. This makes the game between the Ohio State Buckeyes and Marshall Thundering Heir all the more an awaited sports event.

Ohio State already ranks 2nd in major polls just right after defending champs BCS Alabama. Previously when the two teams faced each other on the field, Buckeyes won the game at the last second but if it comes to end of game score, Buckeyes gets beaten by Alabama.

Ohio State Buckeyes still have Terelle Pryor who is slated to win the Heisman. The athlete towers 6’5 and weighs 225 pounds and his athletic capabilities on the field is outstanding.

Speaking of the Buckeyes. Former Buckeye Maurice Clarrett has returned to practice after being in jail for 3 and 1/2 years for illegal possession of fire arms. There might be no telling yet if Clarrett will still be able to play but the former football player is already 26 years old and weighs 10 pound less when he was still a Buckeye (220 pounds).Others are saying that maybe Clarrett is meant for other things rather than football after Maurice Clarrett released in April and moved to another small detention facility. There have been reports of Clarrett returning back to OSU and true enough last July 26, 2010 Ohio State University accepted Maurice Clarrett’s enrolment. The former athlete has been keeping a blog through letters given to his family expressing his remorse  and wish for change.

Update:

And it may be a blessing in disguise as the Ohio State Football team won against Marhall University with a score of 45-7.
