Luke Bilyk, a Canadian child actor is setting the internet a buzz after starring in Canada’s immensely popular Degrassi: The Next Generation, a teen drama television series portraying Canadian teenagers. He is just the latest addition along with Melinda Shankar in Degrassi’s nearly inter racial teen cast drama. Playing Drew Torres, he portrays life in De Grassi street, Toronto, Ontario struggling through the problems experienced by teenagers such as identity crisis, teen pregnancy and the pressures of school, friends and family.

Recent pictures of Luke have been rapidly searched most notable is his picture with Miley Cyrus and co-star Jessika Tyler aka Jenna of Degrassi: The Next Generation. Fans were quick to notice the resemblance of Luke to star Taylor Lautner. Co-actor Melinda recently commented on Luke’s speedy rise to fame as Toronto’s (Degrassi) Taylor Lautner (TTL). Luke’s resemblance to star Taylor Lautner may be responsible for the burst of popularity however Luke has been in the Canadian showbiz for nearly half a decade with almost twenty (20) commercials and series of TV shows made to date.
