C. Go to run and type regedit.exe to open registry editor. Search and delete the following

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\PhishingFilter “Enabled” = “0?
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings “ProxyOverride” = “”
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings “ProxyServer” = “http=127.0.0.1:1041?
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Associations “LowRiskFileTypes” = “.exe”
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Attachments “SaveZoneInformation” = “1?
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run “ouferdbubtdve”

D. Delete AV Security Suite Virus DLL files by going to the command prompt (run>cmd.exe) and going to the folder of the installed scareware. Once you’ve identified the DLL of the scareware, type “regsvr 32 /u {insert dll name}.dll (Example. regsvr32 /u avsecurity.dll) and press enter.

4. The easy but brutal way is just to whip out your installation CD and do a reformate and reinstallation of your OS. After which, buy the best antivirus soft ware and scan all your removable drives before inserting them to your computer.
